One of my friends is selling stage 2 Gude cams. I wanna buy them but when i looked on their web site it didn' help much I was wondering if anyone can give me some info about these cams specifaclly if they mostly specialize in turbo or striaght race cams cuz these cams are gonna go in to my Ls and I don't have turbo. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I wouldn't worry about them being regrind cams as much as I would worry about them being GUDE cams.

I had gude cams in my sentra... and aside from being REALLY LOUD (clicking not exhaust wise)

They kicked ***. the difference was NIGHT and DAY... and they were regrinds too.

I haven't had any experience with them on honda's but my sentra ripped *** after I put those in... they required A LOT of shims though and getting the core charge returned took WELL over 6 months.

But as far as quality I don't think you have anything to worry about. My sentra ran nasty till the day I junked it with over 60k on the cams.

From what I hear about GUDE...you will want to upgrade the valvetrain because they are loud and idling might be a problem. Not many people go with Gude anymore. Personally, I would stay away from them and go with something more common...i.e. (skunk2, JUN, Crower)
Just my 2cents.
Peace

YES THEY ARE LOUD... LOUD AS HELL...

I couldn't count the times my friends (semi jokingly) said "did you do a diesel swap".

they were loud at idle but after that you couldn't really hear them.
