Default LS block and B16A crank???

I'm just curious to know if a B16A crank will fit in a B18A/B block? I am aware of the difference in stroke and in rod thickness. I just need to know if the crank will fit and work properly in this block?

Also, how hard would it be to get a Crower or Eagle rod that is 144mm in length and 19.5mm in thickness? Do they offer custom rods for this type of setup?

Your help is appreciated...thanks again!
