Lower Tie Bar
I currently have front and rear upper strut bar on my 90 Accord EX, and I'm curious if adding rear lower tie bar makes any difference. Anyone who installed lower bar noticed any diferences?
im a bit skeptical on how much the lower rear tie bars really help the suspension. Esp since I don't think any major companies make it for the accord. The only rear lower tie bars I see are generic type brands.
The lower tie bars do not stiffen the suspension as a stiffer spring or larger sway bar will. The lower tie bars do help keep the chassis from twisting when carving the twisties which will keep the suspension mounting points from moving and keep the suspension geometry correct. This will help keep the car more stabil in the turns.
