Default Lower rear floor bar.

No no not lower tie bar, or strut bar. Floor bar. Ive seen these around magazine, just wondering if someone is actually using one?

And, what peoples opinions on them are, functionality or just riceology?
Only thing i could see it used for is to strap some 4/5 point harness' to if you have a hatch.

This is what the ad says:
Get improved handling plus the look and feel Sport Compact owners want!

Acts as a brace between each side of the chassis, ensuring a more rigid chassis & a stiffer suspension
Adjustable to fit in any car! Mounts in a central spot in your car between the front and rear seat floor. Bolts into your seat-belt mount.

I am not sure htat these sould be of any benifit. I mean if you think about it, you bolt this close to the floor pan. If you want bracing of the cabin, I would put one on the b-pillar spanning across the car.

I didn't know as a sport compact owner that there was a "look and feel" that I wanted. Boy, you learn something new everyday when you own one of these cars.

i have the Do Luck bar in my civic. by FAR and away THE best chassis improvement there is other than a cage. i put it in and it was simply amazing. i can open the doors with the car jacked on one wheel. never could do that very easily before.

Doesn't APC make a version to that? I think they called them "Monkey Bars" or something. They even state in the ad that it does nothing for performance and its just to make your car look like a "racecar"! That statement right there would grab the ricers by the horns and scream "BUY ME YOU RICER"!!!!!

One of my friends is using a universal one made by Moroso in his CRX. The thing is very beefy, looks like the size of typical roll cage tubing. It has to be cut to length and then welded. Since it is more specifically for heavier domestic cars the thing is very stiff, he said that he noticed a pretty big difference after the install.

Dont Be a dumbass like me and waste your money on one of these. They dont do $hit. I payed $80 for one, It took for ever to install in my hatch cause the hole that you put it into are under the carpet AND on the right side there's brake a gas lines in the way. Plus the stupid adjusting tool they give you is cheap *** metal so it bends then you cant tighten the bar. Then there's no room for your feet in the back, people scratch, bend it and trip over it geting in and out. ITS CRAP DONT BUY IT!

if you want a stiffer chassis without a cage, this is BY FAR the best item to get. sure, it's harder to get people in the back, but for pure performance, it kicks ***!
