H-Braces? do they work?
i was looking on ebay for some strut bars / ties bars to stiffern up my car and i noticed something ive never seen, h-braces. Do these actually work and where do they mount?

yes they work, stiffen the front up, its like a lower tie bar, the front of the h brace, with the circles bolt in to your front lca's and then the rear bolt into the frame by your cat

yea, dont get the front lower tie bar however if you are gunna run an h brace, im running a mugen front upper tie bar, h brace, rear upper tie bar, and rear lower tie bar, handles nice but the next thing im gunna do is a rear sway bar

if you're going to get a H-brace don't get the one with the rear bar support. like this...

strange... my second h-brace had that second bar, I had to remove it to even install the thing. my exhaust runs about 1 inch below the first bar, and right in between the points where the second bar was.
might be an EK/EG thing.

possibly, i actaully cut inch out of mine to hung the chassis more and had to grind slightly on the inside for a lil exhaust clearance but no rubbing now and it hugs the chassis nicely
