Default lower ball joint/ lca question?

94 GSR

I have a few centimeters between the lca and the boot for the lower the ball joint. Am I ready to pry out the axle? Do I need to remove the lca first?

quick revision. Is it possible to remove the axle from the tranny without removing the axle from the hub?? Keeping the rotor and hub in place and prying the axle out from the tranny. Then lifting the axle hub and upper suspension off of the lca.

its alot easier just undoing the nut for the axle, is there a reason you dont want to do it that way? does the nut not want to come loose?

the nut for the axle which is located in the center of the rotor? The car is up on jackstands and isn't coming down. If I try to take this nut out the rotor spins. If I put the car in a forward gear and take it off will that work.
