Default LOW Temp Reading

Okay, my temp guage never gets anywhere close to half way. Most of the time it stays BELOW the cold mark (VTEC takes a long time to kick in). Both radiator hoses are warm (upper and lower)......I DO have heat (takes forever to get warm though), so should I replace the thermostat? Also I never have heard my fan for the radiator kick on. I jumped the fan at the plug and it DOES turn on. Does that mean that the sensor needs replaced as well as the thermostat?????

Thanks for the help.

thermostats don't need to be oem, just make sure you stay around the stock temp, and don't forget to bleed it when your done or the problem will be opposite and you cant get your car to stay at half way temp
