stick a good mechanical oil pressure gauge on there to find out for sure how much oil pressure you are making.
good to hear you found the problem.....hopefully the lack of oil didn't cause any pre-mature damage to the bearings.

hooked up a mechanical oil pressure gauge today. got about 70 psi on cold start and when it got fully warm and driving it came down to 22psi in VTEC i got 84 psi and it dropped to 80 in gear change and back to 84
