lots of black smoke??
i have a obd1 gsr in my hatch, it has I/H/E and it runs so rich it gives me a headach if i drive it for to long. what might be the problem??

are you sure the smoke is from it running rich? maybe you should do a compression test just an idea.

Is the check engine light on? Have you changed the Oxygen sensors?

yea the check engine light comes on sometimes but then it will turn off if you turn the car off and start it back up.

what code is it giving off? More than likely it is just the o2 sensor, but just see what code it is to make sure.
