Default loose timing belt

my timing belt is kinda of loose at lower rpms it doesnt flex but at 5gs it has enough flex to be visble, I had it replaced about 15000 miles back, im going to tighten the tentioner that i found using the search feature here any suggetions or ideas, If i need to replace the timing belt and water pump im gonna do it myself, $300-400 is too much im downloading the shop maunel rgt now. How hard is this to do. I have preformed various matience wth help frm family and friends, axles and clutches. The only reason im kinda hesitance, its my dd and dont want to noob it up. Thanx 4 any help n advance and reading this long *** ramble

If you can do a clutch job, then the timing belt will be a breeze. Just retension the tensioner and hopefully you'll be on your way. Worst case scenerio, you'll need a new belt, tensioner, or both.

Make sure to turn the crank with a wrench a couple revolutions after you get the timing belt on and tensioned to make sure you haven't moved the crank or cam pulleys and you don't have any interference with the valves and pistons.
