Looking for STL Area Tuner
As the title says i need a tuner near STL. The one i have found seems real good. But is 5.5 hrs away(a place called dynotuned.com). Just wondering if anyone knows of a tuner closer to STL. If i cant find one that is better then dyno tuned it is.

Re: Looking for STL Area Tuner (TheYellowDart)
Are you trying to tune Hondata, Uberdata, or just general dyno tuning?
There's a shop out in West County (St. Peters area) called Adrenaline, I'm not sure how well they know their stuff. I think they only claim to know Hondata.
Another is Axis Power Racing down in the city. I do not know what they can tune though.
Overall I have never heard of very many good tuners here in STL. But it may be worth a call to these places to check it out.

First off I will say I have no first hand knowledge of any of the shops you listed or any in your area.
Now with that said. Go to the one that is five and half hours away that you KNOW is good. How many times are you going to tune your car? What are the consquences of a bad tune?
It is more than worth it to spend a day doing it right the first time. Not to mention even if a "bad" shop doesn't ruin your motor they are probally not going to be able to extract as much power as the known good.

Re: Looking for STL Area Tuner (FairlightRacing)
theyellowdart; i feel your pain man, i'm needing hondata tuning in the future. STL definitely is oppressive to the honda crowd, I'm pretty sure they're some good tuners in Chicago, also forward thrust in KC i have at least one good vouch for, they are hondata's exclusive MO dealer. good luck for the both of us.
