Default Limp Mode but no CEL?

I've posted before and have done a search still no answers, so I am hoping someone can help me fiqure it out before I make the decsion of bringing it to shop.

I did swapped my '99 GSR that was in my old EJ1 into another EJ1. After the swap, I have been in limp mode but I don't have any CEL's so it's driving me crazy trying to figure this out. I can't go pass 65mph and can't rev past 3500, I have a P72 ECU it was an auto to manual swap if that make a difference, probably not.

What is causing this?

Have you used that computer before? Is it socketed for a chip. I accidently put a blank chip in my friends turbo b16 and it was in limp mode. It's weird that you have no CEL, you sure that the light is working properly? Does it come on when you first start the car.

Yup I've used the ecu before everything worked perfectly when it was in my other EJ1 then I did the swap on the chassis and now it's in limp mode w/ no CEL. The CEL does work properly b/c @ first when I swapped the cars, I had a code 22 b/c the vtec wiring was wrong then I fixed it and no check engine light and still in limp mode.

Since I wired the vtec wrong the first time could it be possible that I shorted out the ecu or anything else?
