Default Lights on the flip flop

Okay, well car sat in parking lot and appartment for like ever only to occasional start up. I noticed on one of the times my battery was dead and I didnt understand why till I shut 'er down and went to walk away and noticed the tail lights were on. This car was a friend of mines and I got it from him with ricer blinkers and that is honestly the only thing I can think of that may have anything to do with this problem. I was just posting this for possible solutions and comments.

Thanks

If the brake lights are staying on, check the brake light switch...

If its just the taillights, you have a short somewhere...

Cross your fingers and hope its the brake light switch, LOL

Well. I havent been out to look at it yet but I hope as well Its not a short. I just dont understand why or how though. I mean the last time I went out to start it up I had no issues. I did notice a few wasps around the tail light area of the trunk but Ive never heard of wasps creating issues with anything.

Do you have an aftermarket HU installed?

If so, pull the HU and check the red/black lead in the stock radio harness, it should not be connected to anything and it should be capped off.

Also is it just the tail lights that stay on, no front park lights or dash lights? 94

Yes, I have an after market HU but I have it hooked up though the harness and not spliced directly.

I went out today for a start and rinse and noticed that is only the brake lights. Its all three both tails and third tight that are staying on constant. I was going to check the switch but since setting Ive got quite the black widow infestation I need to clean up before I crawl anywhere.
