Ok well I got a good deal on a ls tranny, head, and block.. I only bought it for the block but the guy doesn't know what kind of condition the tranny is in.. I was wondering If any of you could tell me what numbers on it to look for in year and how to tell what kinda condition its in.. I've looked around a bit on here but havn't came up with any thing too solid yet.. Only that you spin the shaft to see if it works.... If i have to i guess I can take it to a shop and have them look at it but i'd like to save the money if possible. Because Im not a tranny guru.
