Let the build up comense
Well, boosting on stock internals didn't last too long. I've had plans to rebuild the motor for turbo, the sun is starting to set on the ring lands becuase of boost. everytime I'd try to go into VTEC it would bog then burn oil like something ferce. It seems like every summer I'm building another motor.....
I decided to start tearing her down today. My Arias 9:1's came in Friday, and my 1 eagle rod (to replace the broken one from my 2nd motor.) then off to the machine shop. The only things left to do is disconnect the rear mount and tranny mount, get my friend over here w/ an engine crane, disconnect the axles, and it's out. Here's some pictures:

What kind of boost is safe w/ 9:1, blockguard, eagle rods, inner valve springs????

Oh yeah, sorry, forgot to mention that. I have an in-line pump (so 2 fuel pumps), V-AFC, Vortec FMU, and Ford Motorsport 33lb (310cc) injectors.
*warning this is just my opinion if you blow your motor its not my fault*
i would say 10-12 psi should be fine. those injectors are a little small but with GOOD dyno tuning you should be fine.
go have it tuned by a good tuner and you should be flying

Yeah, for sure good tuning, that's what it's all about. I datalogged it w/ an OBD-II logger and it turns out the fuel map that I made on my V-AFC was perfect except a tad (barely) rich around 5000-5500rpm, where the VTEC was switching at 5300, but I leaned it out a tad and it was cool.
I was running 7-8psi before, on stock internals-- that's where the 12.8 came-- stock GS-R's run 17.0 up here, for referance. Multiply the et by .9269 to goto sea level--- that's the NHRA rule, I guess turbo might be different, but all the same we're looking at low 12's/high 11's. Anyhow, I took the block to the machine shop today, w/ the rods and pistons, fuel rail to get the ford injectors to fit in, then we're doing hone/bore... (I changed my mind and got Arias 8.5:1 CR pistons), balance rotating ***'ly, check the rod (crank side) to make sure they're round, polish the crank. It will be done end of next week.
haha, the 4 door is my 23 yr old sister's car. She has a B18C1 in there
