Default Learn how to tune?

Would just like to start off by saying I did not know where to place this thread, so I started it here. Alright now to cut to the point. Ive always wanted to own my own shop and as of right now I'm working on gaining experience, getting educated and saving money to get that accomplished. As of right now I am a Lincoln Tech graduate who is ASE certified and looking to go back to school to start a degree in mechanical engineering. What I would like to also learn is how to tune cars. My question is, is this something i can attend school to learn or is this something taught working under a tuner at a private shop? Any information pertaining to this is greatly appreciated thank you. I hope someone can lead me in the right direction.
