well i have a ek shell that im doing 99 conversion
and im wondering if anyone knows what i need to do to make the 99-00 climate control work on the 96-98 chassis
any help will be repayed for

 

dont do unless you have a 99-00 to strip as you work

you change the dash and engine harness to 99-00 well just put it this way you gotta change all harness from the taillights to the headlights you gotta change the dash to 99-00 you gotta change the heater core box to 99-00 its not that simple as changing the climate control

so if you wanna do fine you a 99-00 civic and strip it

been there done that and dont wanna do it again

 

well i have the heater core and the complete underdash with the wiring
is there away that i can make it work with just that?
or is it a must to convert everything to 99-00 :l

 

if you got the 99-00 dash harness then you engine harness to go with it

96-98 engine harness have 3 ecu plugs on it

99-00 engine harness have 2 ecu plugs on it and the other one is on the dash

rywire should beable to convert the 96-98 dash harness to 99-00 if you him send both of them, you should pm him

 

so basically have to convert the chassis to obd2b?

I have no idea why you would need to switch to that 3 to 2 plug harness. I had to replace the heater core and blower motor and used the 99 dash harness and everything works I don't remember how many plugs there were but I did have the whole 00 si dash so I threw that in as well.
