Default Leaking injector?

I'm currently undergoing rebuilding the bottom end in my ITR. It's burning alot of oil and has had its fair share of abuse in the last 93,000mi. However, the last few months before it went under the knife I installed a set of used larger injectors. Around this same time the car developed a hard startup problem. The car would idle like crap and stutter around for a good 30 seconds or so before getting a good idle. I was thinking it was either

1. The cold engine and looser clearances creates a ton of blown by from the already crapped out oil rings (the car does pour a ton of smoke on startup when it idles bad).

2. One of the injectors is leaking and on startup the engine has to deal with a flooded cylinder.

Any ideas?

You may want to hook up a fuel pressure guage and see if it holds pressure after you shut the engine down for a time. That will tell you if you hane a leaky injector.
Or send them to a shop to get checked.
