laptop tuning
does anybody know if there is a program that can be downloaded to a laptop to help tune safc's or vafc's? that will plug into the ecu? i know there's one for dsm's but just curious as to know if there is one for honda's b-series engines..if anyone knows please post sites...thanks
i think he means just a bunch of parameters for tuning it, just soemthign to guide him along, even tho i have no idea where it can be found, damn, you smote me to the nOOb bash, jk, good luck man
Not unless you run a Hondata system with the datalogger... Just put ur car on the dyno with the VAFC or SAFC... Chances are if you are tuning with a VAFC there isn't a lot that has to be tuned... I could be wrong but in most cases if you have some major tuning you would just go with Hondata or a standalone system... You should even be able to tune the VAFC by feel...
Good Luck...
Good Luck...
yah i was just curious thats all, a friend of mine was mentioning something to me about it, just wondering if anybody would know what he was getting at, you can noob bash me all you want, but ive been a member on h-t for the past 4 years, ive been through alot of sn's, i just post when i have questions thats all, but thanks for the input though
http://www.obd-2.com/ this is all you need costs about 100 bucks. i dont think anyone understood what you wanted to tell them except maybe the hondalogger idea. but the dsm guys have a datalogger called i think pocket logger that plugs into a palm or similar palm os device . you obviously want to use such a device to see where your sensor parameters are running, right? well this device works well and is upgradeable to include other vehicles and does more than just honda already. check it out. i found out about it in a review in hci magazine and have also posted about it on this site. try a search for my username or obd scan tool .. hope this helps.
