Are you talking about the GR2's? Well they're basically meant as an OEM replacement with slightly better handling.

just save and get AGX's or a comparable shock/strut. as said, Lexus/Mitusbishi to name a few use these as OEM parts... not very good for lowering a car/getting great performance.

i have kyb AGXs in the front, kyb GR2s in the back, and eibach pro springs all around... i have about a 1.5-2" drop. It handles like a dream. howev- i still bottom out on speed bumps and hills with that drop, 3-4" is SUICIDE, especially with the bad roads of jersey.

btw, i lowered my car 2 years ago, and ZERO problems with the suspension. i chose a good setup.

i mated the kyb agx's and ground control to get a ~1.75-2in drop... Unfortunately it bottomed out and bye bye.
Think wisely when you plan to drop your car

I had gr2's on all four corners on my civic with pro-kit springs... they were great and I road the hell out of them... they also were working just fine after over 80k on them... my buddy had them in his talon though and blew one out pretty quick though...

but like I said I was REAL hard on them and they never gave me anything but great performance.
