Hello,
i just got my ek project essentially done. Anyways I started the motor and all sounds good. 80lbs of oil pressure on cold start (shimmed pump) I finally bled the Slavs cylinder and everytime I press it there is a knocking definitely from the tranny side. New competition stage 3 clutch, pressure plate, pilot bearing and throw out bearing. I took the tranny back off and nothing is rubbing anywhere inside the bell housing or on the pressure plate. I did check for thrust play and there is none. It’s a fresh vitara build. I should mention I have hasports mounts. Maybe a bad new pressure plate? Nothing in the tranny should be spinning. I through the old clutch and pressure plate away so I can’t even swap it out to see 🤨
my dyno day is the 29th of this month and I am sort of freaking out. I attached a video of the noise, you can really hear it towards the end.

What your describing sounds very much like the throw out bearing. Are you 100% sure you have it seated in correctly?

 

I believe so, how do I tell? First time installing a throw out bearing on the fork
