knock sensor problem ?

knock sensor problem ?
my engine run good without the air cond. BUT if you have switch on the air cond only once, then, the problem came and it looks like all the timing have changed.(it would not help even if you switch it off !)
Next time you start the car it is OK again, but if you....
I have retard the timing but it doesn't work.
Could it be the Knock sensor ? Where is it ?
