knock sensor location on b18a
i am doing an ls/vtec and will be using a pr3 ecu which requires the use of a knock sensor. problem: where should i put the knock sensor in the b18a? and i dont want to tap any thing out if i dont have to. thanx.

KS is non existant on the B18A and when using an ECU that requires KS, you will need to tap into the block...
It's fairly simple.
I know there is a walk-through on c-speedracing.com and has been posted, but I can't find it right now.

yea they put it in one of the alternator holes. any others. theres a guy that pmed me about a chip that eliminated knock, 2nd o2, and speed governor. good idea or no? i know a guy in town that will tune my car according to knock. solely on knock.

Yes you can eliminate knock sensor as well, and those other things.
I would recommend doing it if you do not want to add knock sensor and such.
