Default knock sensor

i broke mine and i dont want to get a new one... is that dangerous or is missing one is not a big deal

The ecu will trip the CEL or pull timing out or both.Replace it.

well im gonna need a good tune anyways so if i get a p28 ecu the knock sensor wouldnt be a problem anymore right ?

someone told me if you dont put it back in oil will come out but i cant remember if its actualy a hole that goes throught the wall or just a hall to screw stuff in.

the knock sensor only bolts on the block next to the crank..it won't be bolted all the way through.
