Default Keyless entry removal

I have a 99 civic ex d16 auto. Am i able to removal all wiring for the keyless entry? Will that cause any no start issues?

out of curiosity, do you want to disable the system or literally remove the wires?

the DX trim for the same model year had no keyless entry. I'm 100% confident that is possible to do on your EX. I can't say for sure that everything will work as if it were a DX just by removing wires... but it's pretty likely it would.

im swapping the sohc vtec into a classic mini cooper(which is obviously way smaller) and want wont need abs, airbags, pw/pl ect. Removing that stuff will make it easier to fit all the wiring in the mini.

oh, I see. you should be able to "dumb" down the wiring pretty well then. I'm pretty sure switched power to the ECU and fuel pump via the main relay and a starter cut relay from the ignition key should allow you to start it up.
