What noises might come from this unit. I was told it is very noisy on purpose and i am getting grinnding and cracking noises.

 

Did you break it in properly?

 

umm...no noise coming from my GSR Kazz 1.5way LSD' tranny. could be your clutch...

 

do u use proper Kaaz LSD gear oil?

 

you need to break it in buddy, drive in a figure 8 for 30 mins then drive easy for about few more hours then change fluid, and you are set, it will always make the popping noises when you are turning, I don't have one on my civic but I'm sure it's the same way as my nissan.

 

I bought the car with it in already.

 

I get the noises when turnning and low speeds.

 

weird...i chirp my tires when i turn.

normal for clutch type lsd

 

Are the grinding, creeking and cracking noises bad because I hear different from everyone. some people say they get no noise. some say it is really loud.
