Default Just had to push start car! Help please!!

2000 integra with b20 swap.

Started up after the gym fine drove a couple minutes to a gas station. Went in, came out car wouldnt start. All lights come on, turn key and nothing, almost like when you try to start it with the clutch out. Checked battery terminals fine. Tried numerous clutch in clutch out brake on etc nothing. Tried to jump it and same result. Ended up pushing it and it fired up and drove home.

Only things I can think of are starter, that clutch safety switch or some fuse possibly? Thought for a second it could be the chip in the key but the car wouldnt run even if push started right? Any advice? Can I test the starter on the car or that clutch switch?

New to imports but fairly handy on a car. I just got it home and it wont start so there it sits till i figure it out.

more information

When I turn the key on the check engine light goes on, I hear a click, then goes off, I hear a click and the fule pump primes. This leads me to think the main relay is ok correct?

My clutch peddal has a plunger switch that looks like it should be depressed when the clutch is up but there is a hole for the plunger to go through so basically the switch is in the same place no matter where the clutch is. I have tried starting the car with the plunger pushed in and left out and neither works.

I turned the headlights on and turned the ignition and the headlights do not dim at all.

So am I right in thinking the starter is not getting power? I tested the battery with a multi meeter and it reads 12.85 volts so I assume it is ok. I have rapped on the starter lightly a few times and still nothing.

Thoughts??
