Default jun stage 3/compression ratio ?'s...............................

I have a b18c5 and have jun stage 3's ready to go in(have complete valvetrain upgraded). People are telling me that jun stage 3's do not work well with the stock CR of the motor. Is this true and if so, what kind of CR works best or would I be better off just getting different cams?

thanks alot

You need 12:1 to 12.5:1. That's what the Jun crate motors run

blah blah blah...you will do just fine with a stock bottom end. Obviously, more compression is better, but you will be fine. Consider a Mugen headgasket.

jun 3"s love compression......they absolutley rip with high cr. espesially up top!!!!i run them with ctr pistons and it goes.(i am pretty sure my comp. is 12.1.1 , but some say 10.8.1.......but it sounds and feels to good to be that low. just wait a little longer and do the bottom end. Im me if you got any questions!

I'm planning on running 13:1 compression with JUN III head.. I'm hoping that she'll be a good combo, as long as it clays out.

Unless you have a b16B motor then your compression is well over 12:1.
