Jun spring?
no definitly not.....the best retainers out there are jun,toda and ef-1.....i can remember the reason exactly but i know portflow and skunk have something that isnt exactly perfect. Id run juns with big cams like those
exactly what I thought. I just wanted someone else to say that as my friend doesn't believe me.. go figure....
And actually, I think it has to do with the thickness of the retainer, as well as the lift rating...

We use stock retainers all the time on motors running past 9500rpm.
They work fine and as long as you have a good spring behind them(ie NOT JUN).
Stock retainers also last a lot longer than most titanium.
