JR's VTEC Controller
Anyone use it? Is it worth it? Is 3500 RPM safe for a stock engine (on 97' lude)? Here's what I understand of the basic concept: You get to engage your VTEC much earlier than normal, and thus you would hit your peak HP much sooner. This doesn't add any HP, but it will allow you to accelerate a lot faster, because you reach peak HP quicker, thus making your lap times better. Sound right?
nope - sounds wrong, 100 percent wrong
dyno - first run x-over all the way down
- secong run x-over all the way up
wherever they cross should be close to ideal

What benefit does the VTEC controller have? Or is it just a waste?
you wont notice a difference unless you have cams, and you dont want to lower the v-tec engagement point that soon because you dont have enough oil pressure and it really won tdo any good, the v-tec controller is basically like a fine tuner you can change your fuel curve and engagement point to find out where lost hp is..
that's my theory at least
