JDMB18c1 Idle
I have a 95 JDM B18c1
I replaced the head gasket and used ARP head bolts
replaced the IM gasket
changed my TPS
I tested my compressions and it's at 240 on first cylinder, then 250 all the way across
fixed my ignition timing...
The situation is, during cold start, the engine idles at 2500 rpm, sometimes at 3000 if the whether is colder, then it slowly drops just below 1000 rpm when the car is warm (which I know it is correct).
Is this engine, at cold start up, suppose to idle so high? I'm sure it's not suppose to, but I can't figure out why?
