Default JDM tranny probs

i have a 94 JDM H22A tranny with a few problems

i just filled the tranny with some fresh 10w-30 oil
-second gear seems to grind everytime i shift
-5th gear pops out all the time and has to be held there with force to keep it in
-and downshifting to second gear is impossible

can anyone tell me the cure to these symtoms or do i have to buy another tranny and rebuild it? ( last resort choice)

i will have to double check the linkage/washers/bushings and cotter pins

1st ,3rd, and 4th gear seems to go in like a glove...?

so "assumming" that there was no problems with the linkages etc...

what would be the next best guess work to solve the symtoms? i want to make my last choice on taking it to AAMCO

thanx for the replies

Using a better transmission lubricant couldn't hurt and might help slightly. Motor oil is not ideal.

i'll try to use better lubricant
maybe some synthedic? or lucas oil?

it will probably make the second gear crunch teeth less than it is now , but as for 5th gear it really forces it way to come out , almost to the point where i hold it in and the gears lock up and the whole car clonks
