I'm about to buy a jdm b16 (1st gen i think) off of a friend who has it in his 91 integra. The vtec doesn't ingage and he was told it was because of the ecu. But another friend of mine got a JDM GSR put in and he had problems also. His mechanic had to fix the wiring harness (something about the JDM harness not having the plug for the vtec solenoid like the USDM harness), and the computer. Now his motor is running strong. What i need to know is what common problems (if any) are found when you first put a JDM motor into a EG and what you need to fix those problems.
