I thought that the JDM D15B had vtec. Well, my D15B (no numbers after B) has a 16 valve head.

what kind of 1.5 is this? Do I need to buy a vtec head to put on my block or whats the deal? It seems to pull real nice though.

i think thats tha vx motor. n im pretty sure tha jdm vtec is d15b block wit a z6 head. i could be wrong tho.

I tried doing some searching and came up empty handed, thats why I posted here

 

if possible you can put z6 psitons and head on it. it wil become a JDM d15b with is 130HP from teh 1.5 but will rev super fasta nd stay in RPM's longer. great motor i have one.

 

Please be specific on what head I need

 

yah my buddy had that motor too! A JDM D15B but 16 valve non-vtec. That think flys for being non-vtec.
