JDM D15B civic motor needs information about timing belt , tensioner and water pump.
Hello I have a Honda Civic 00 Lx and I had changed the engine for those JDM D15B and runs very well but I need to change the timing belt, tensioner pulley and water pump etc.., so I need to know information about those parts what year or civic model should I exactly buy for those parts . I had heard that those I have to ask for parts from honda civic lx '95 but I need to be sure if someone can help me and can tell me for sure, thank you.

Count the teeth on your existing belt, the 95 DX/LX if I remember has 106 tooth belt, the 95 Si had 104 tooth I think.
Water pump is different between the two, the DX/LX has a larger flange than the Si.
I'm not sure there is a difference in size of the tensioner.
You might get parts for both cars and compare, then return the parts you don't need. And make a log of what parts the JDM motor uses.

Should still kinda have the part number on the timing belt, give it a try. From there you can google it and see what it came out of and get the matching water pump and tension w/spring.

Use the timing belt, water pump and tensioner from the '95 DX/LX (D15B7) on the JDM D15B.

I stand corrected. It's funny, the OBD-1 1.5L and 1.6L engines share the same cam gear and crank gear... one would think that since the block heights are different, you would simply use the appropriate belt for the engine size... there must be something about the JDM D15B combination that I am unaware of. Then again, I am no "single-jingle" fan anyway... but maybe I need to brush up if I intend to help others here better.

Does that apply to both JDM D15B vtec motors? The 3 stage and the 2 stage? Curious to know if that is universal or only for the 2 stage.
As can be seen below, the belt you have is discontinued by Honda USA but it is the 103 tooth belt as per the 103Ru24. So you can shop around for the Gates or Contitech belt for the VX like the previous poster mentioned.

This is an after market timing belt (picture) I don't see the brand on this timing belt, my question is if this timing belt is good as OEM Honda timing belt? This timing belt is 103 teeth and fits on Honda civic vx and is the one that fits the JDM D15B civic engine alos.
