Default JDM B18cR idling problems...

Hey all.. newbie here so please be patient .. someone must have seen this before ??

Got a problem with my car not idling properly.
Everytime the car comes to a standstill it idles at around 3000 rpm for a few seconds ... then 1500 rpm for a few seconds.. then settles at 1200 rpm..

Sometimes it will even idle very low eg. just under 800 rpm and the car feels like it wants to stall.

Only thing I have noticed when looking under the hood is that the casing for the TPS (throttle positions sensor?) plug is broken / cracked... it dtill plugs into the sensor at the throttle body fine.. Nothing seems to be broken or loose..

Anyone got any ideas of the problem? I will replace the TPS plug to be sure. Also someone has told me to check the oxygen sensor?

Thanks in advance.

There are also problems with the distributor going a little crazy if the engine has been sitting for an extended period of time. A friend of mine had the same problem on his B16A, we just replaced the distributor and it was fine. Let us know how it goes after you replace the TPS.
