RPM Problems
I have a GSR motor and have been driven it for a while with the cel on only to find out it was for a knock sensor, so i bought one and wired it in, started the car and had a high idle. Then i cleaned out the throttle body and put a new gasket on and now the idle is between 900 and 1100 but i max out at 2600 RPMs. Checked the codes and it came up with the MAP sensor, TPS, and idle air control valve. So which of those could be causing the RPM issue? Any ideas or suggestions would help too.
sound like you mixed some of your plugs up ...take the plug out of the map sensor and switch it with the plug in your tps ... they use the same style plug and see if that clears up your ecu porblem ... also reset your ecu when you do this
