JDM B18C and JDM B18C
Can someone point me in the right direction as to the differences between a JDM GSR B18C and a JDM ITR B18C. Things like outward visual differences and trannies that came on each, ecu's and things that i can look at to verify that it is an ITR not a GSR. And obvious things like IM and valve cover i know, im kinda looking for thigs that you cant take off, and i could be sure.
Im possibly buying a hatch with a 96 B18C that he states is ITR. Could the vin# on the block tell me something? What should i look for?
Also for a 96.. what tranny was included on this and what are the specs on it.. LSD? 4.875 FD? Stuff like that.
Thanks fellas

Yes.
And, if the motor has`nt been messed with, you`ll notice the difference on the IM, you can`t mistake the GSR`s snail....

i know about the IM... the vin that is stamped on the block has to tell me something. The vins have to be diffrent if the car came out of a GSR or ITR....
the GSR head is stamped with a p72.. the the ITR's, JDM or USDM, are stamped with a PR3..i think.. both blocks are identical on the outside.. so good luck..
