Default jdm b16 in a LS ?

i have a b18a1 block. i just got a jdm b16 block tonite. i am thinking of swaping over the pistons and rods to my b18a from the b16. will everything fit? the b16 pistons have a higher dome that my LS pistons , shouldnt this rasie my CR? oh yeah im will be using a 94+ LS head too. are the issues i mite face ?..... .................................................. ................

I dont see no complications there
but just change the rings and hone the cylinder walls

off topic, but is there any way you tell if a motor will burn oil with out installing it? maybe if u looked at the rings. What should you look for?

Crack the head off and take a look at the interior. If there's oily residue everywhere then it's burning oil.

the pistons will be fine, they yield about 10.8 with pr3's and 11 with p30's
when you take everyhtimg apart look at the pistons skirts to see how much residue is in there
