why is that? I have heard of people putting b16 pistons in ls blocks.

actully the ls 90-99pistons will fit right on the b16 rod with no modification...only the b18a's and b18b's 90-99 the gsr or type r pistons wont fit without modification to the rod which weakens the rod....so not a good idea

ls pistons on b16 rods .......been there and done that.... it works really well...

.it drops the b16 comp ratio to just shy of a 9to1 ....great compression for boost....with stock head gasket...

but resurface your head...and deck the block and youll have a 9to1..with an OEM head gasket...

b16 pistons pr3's and jdm b16 p30 pistons will go right on the b16 rod... to give a cheap all motor build on an ls too.... built one LS with the p30's and it ran like a raped ape with bolt ons...... beat up my buddys gsr with boltons with that setup
