Default ITR vs. CTR JDM piston question

I know it's prolly been discussed, but I ran a quick search and didn't find anything.

So, question is this.

LS/VTEC motor (B18B block, JDM B16A SiRII Head)

Which Piston will give higher compression? The JDM ITR, or the CTR piston.

I was under the impression that the ITR was a higher compression, however, I just looked at some side by side pics, and the CTR appears to have a much higher dome.

Help?

The CTR pistons will give the higher compression.

Dome size isn't the only thing that matters. You also have to consider the piston's compression height and the volume of the valve reliefs. With that said, the CTR pistons produce the smaller combustion chamber volume.
