Default ITR CAMS question

im from australia and drive an ek4 with b16a2...

after reading many american articles it seems as though
when you install CTR or ITR cams you guys dont require any mods to teh computer and seem to just dial in the cams with cam gears...

over here i keep getting told i need a some form of engine management to have these cams work properly....

so basically what do u guys think and can someone let me know about a similar set up thanks

ps i got intake headers cat and cat back system already

doesn;t really matter where on Earth you're located, modifed ECU programs makes the motor put down more power ... the combination is what matters.

the cams are not aggressive enough to warrant any major changes to the maps.

with a tuned ECU/chip you are able to get custom rev limit/ vtec switch as well as maps that are suited to the mods. is it worth it for you ? it all depends on what you do? if its street driven and nothing else leave it stock. otherwise find a mild program such as Spoon or JUN and try it out.

My car made big gains going stand alone (microtech) and that is with just I/H/E. When I change cams it'll be even better.
