Default ITBS throttle cable

I was just wondering if anyone had run into a problem with not getting 100% throttle with twm itbs. I just ordered a 95 civic ex throttle cable, i was told that will give me more treads needed to get full throttle. If there is a differant answer i would appresiate it.

I just did some quick researche and it seems as though the 92-95 Civic cable is the way to go.

As far as the bracket, I have found that some people have had to make a custom bracket.

Hope that helps...

well i dont see any differance with a 95 civic ex and a 94 cx throttle cable. I then used a 94 gsr cable and still the best i can get is 70% from the tps. Now i was told to bend the accel pedal where the cable attaches. Any other thoughts or anyone with itbs have these issues

I don't think I'd go as far as bending the accelerator pedal.

what about the bracket for the cable? Can it be bent or relocated anywhere?

maybe im looking to hard but regardless of the cable. 1 the overall pull of the accel. pedal is the same, 2 the the cam for the throttles has to rotate more than the amount of the accel pulls. Does that make sence. and if so moving the point at which you mount the cable wont matter.

Anyone else have any of these problems. Or did just fab up new brackets or new cam set up?
