So sometimes i get a clicking/rattling sound from my distributor on my b16a its not all the time but sometimes it will start, Ive taken the cap off and looked for something broken everything looked spot on.

I was told it could be a bearing inside there, Has this ever happend to anyone and is it possible to just replace the bearing its self?

If its a bearing, replace the dizzy. A bearing going out is not totally unheard of.... I personally have never had it happen but have seen it happen to others..

 

Is there anyway i can replace just the bearing because as we speak i don't have the money replace the entire dizzy and pay to have someone do that cause I don't know how.. I guess if not im going to leave it cause it doesnt do it all the time when it makes that noise which is weird

 

That's like buying a new pair of shoes because your shoe string broke.
Can the bearing be replaced? Yes. Around $30 for the bearing and a couple hours of your time.

 

Thanks for the info nub, I'm going to replace just the bearing after i find a write up or how to on replaceing just the bearing.

 

i've never seen a distributor bearing sold separate.
