Interchangeablity between the alternator for: b16a1 & b17a?
Does anyone know weather another alternator will bolt up to a b17a? Gsr motor? (b17a is the same block and head as a b16a1 ..w/ diff stroke)
Can anyone provide me with the Nippon denso number off their b16a1 alternator?

I don't know if the GSR fits. Here's the p/ns off my brother's B16A alternator (1st gen)...
1st row: C(J/I)N40
2nd row: 12V | 10 02 11 - 7320
3rd row: 10J11

Are the outputs for these alts the same? Any benefit to the B17a as opposed to the B18A/B? Higher output or whatever? TIA!
