Integra / Civic clutch interchange?
Greetings!
I tried a search but didn't get very far. I most likely will need a new clutch soon for my 92 Civic Si (100,000 miles on this one) and am looking for suggestions for the new one. I deal with a mechanic who is into using Honda parts vs aftermarket. I am not sure if I can use an aftermarket performance clutch legally in STS anyway. Here's the questions:
Do Integra and Civic Si's share the same clutch?
Do they interchange?
Is there a performance differance between them?
Thanks for any constructive suggestions!

You can interchange among the same SERIES and TYPE (hydraulic/cable). So, if you happen to have a D-series motor in your car, there aren't many alternative clutch parts. A '99 Si for example can interchange with most Integras.
to add to this information, higher models of Integra have higher pressure in their pressure plates. get a Type-R one while you're at it. i think GSR is the same but go for Type-R and you won't have a problem. look at the part numbers before ordering and make sure the company you get it from doesn't just sell the same part for LS as GSR and Type-R.
