I was wondering if i can put a crx si intake manifold on my crx hf...the engine is the same (16v. I was told by a mech...i thought it was 8v.)...if not...what the hell can i do to the engine to tweak it up?(intake systems wont fit )

 

who told you the intake won't fit? if you are talking about he mutli-port intake, the si's should bolt directly up to the dx and hf. they all have the exact same head. you should only need to change the computer and mpfi unit in the hf. it is already wired for the multi-port injection.

 

Also, the HF head IS 8 valve. Tell that mechanic to stop giving out BS info. And yes, the intake mani will bolt right on.

 

All D series intake and exhaust manifolds i've ever seen had the same bolt pattern(except for the bastard D16A1)
