Installing Mixture Gauge and A/F Meter
My friend is throwing a factory supercharger on his Nissan Frontier and wanted to know about installing a Mixture gauge and A/F meter. Where do the sensors for these 2 go? TIA.
Your friend is using a true wideband O2 sensor - right?
If yes, install in the exhaust pipe before the catalytic converter.
If its not....throw it away.
What is a mixture gauge? Like a VAFC, or something similar?

no, he's not using a true wideband O2 sensor, what's a recommendation for one? Also, the mixture gauge is the lean/rich mixture that I'm talkin about

teh a/f & mixture gauges are the same.
It's what you are hooking up to.
If you are putting the mixture gauge to the factory o2, it's basically useless.
If the mixture gauge is hooked up to or comes w/ the wideband, hook it up to that.
Depending on what else he is using, there are a few options for kits that I know of:
zeitronix
aem uego
lm-1 innovative motorsports
plx wideband
etc
etc
I think all of them (w/ exception of the aem?) use the bosch sensor, which is the relatively cheapest wideband sensor you can buy. And if you plan on running it in your car 24/7 (instead of just for tuning), then you will probably be replacing it yearly at least.
