Default Installing Head

yes i have a haynes b4 anyone asks...i bought a head off my buddy couple months ago now my motor is ready to get it, b4 i go and put it on or if i put it on first i dont knwo...i dont know how to go about doin it...i got the block on a stand right now...what are the things i check on da head to make sure its good...i know the valve clearances...is there anything else or do i just put da bitch on and dats it???

Get a buddy that does know what hes doing so you don't mess the head up in the install.

Before you reinstall it make sure your head is level.. If not you will need to get it planed
