Default input shaft bearing?

okay, from what people have said in my previous posts, i am pretty sure my input shaft bearing is bad. my question is, how serious is the problem? will it damage the tranny, or will it just continue to make clicking noises? basically, do I HAVE to get it changed asap? or can i wait a while to change it out?

To answer your question, I currently have d-series tanns ripped apart due to a input shaft bearing failure. Well he two waited the until it got worst. Now, not only does have to replace the input bear, he also has to replace the input shaft. The was damage due to excessive shaft movement when the bearing broke apart.

So, my advice to you is replace it now before it get expensive.

$80 is what I charge to replace a unexploded ISB.
Exploded ISB replaced is about $125 IF the mainshaft is not damaged.

That means the tranny is dropped off at my place.

Do not let that bad ISB explode. This tranny is now JUNK.
